Abstract

The work presents the edition of the poems inserted in the Floramante de Colonia, Segunda Parte de Clarián de Landanís, a book of chivalry by Jerónimo López. The analysis of the metrical and stylistic characteristics identified in the work is related to the poetry of the cancioneros. The detailed study of the circumstances and function of poetic insertions highlights the importance of the psychophysiological perspective in the treatment of «love sickness», a feature that would coincide with the usual practice in related genres, and especially with sentimental fiction.
