An invention tournament held in Milan in 1559 is analyzed. Its plot and development are summarized, the connection between the publication of its relation and the peace treaty of Cateau-Cambrésis is studied, the elements that unite it and separate it from the genre of invention tournaments are reviewed, and some hypotheses about the realization of this festival are proposed.
