Abstract

The article focuses both on the presence and on the influence of Gadda’s oeuvre in Daniela Ranieri’s novel-essay Stradario aggiornato di tutti i miei baci. The first section is devoted to a presentation of the main thematic and stylistic features of Stradario. Secondly, the paper analyses a number of quotations from Gadda’s work in Ranieri’s novel. By focusing on the formal features of Stradario, the third section examines the influence of Gadda’s style on Ranieri’s prose. The final section points out the similarities between the posture of Stradario I-narrator and the narrator in Gadda’s novel.
