Abstract

The article points to certain peculiarities of Peninsular chivalric narratives as convergent with recent characterizations of world literature. This implies not only to consider the concept of literary «worldness» and its textual representations, but the intense actuality recognizable many aspects of the chivalric tradition, especially in the light of contemporary debates about world literature.
