Este trabajo constituye una presentación del Catálogo descriptivo de textos breves en los libros de caballerías hispánicos (siglos XV-XVII). Se expone un estado de la cuestión y cómo se inserta en los estudios actuales sobre literatura caballeresca. Se define lo que para los fines del proyecto se considera texto breve y las diversas variantes, formas y funciones que tiene al interior de la narración caballeresca. Asimismo, se describen los objetivos y alcances del catálogo conformado en una base de datos. Hay muestras de cómo están conformadas las fichas de datos, los aspectos considerados, el contexto de los textos breves, su forma y su función.
This is a presentation of the Catálogo descriptivo de textos breves en los libros de caballerías hispánicos (siglos XV-XVII), and its backgound in terms of romances of chivalry studies. There is also a definition of «texto breve», the function and structure that it may have in the romance narrative. There are also two samples of how this catalogue will work and will be usefull for future research projects.
